Elements of Pinoy Hip-Hop | Part 2

Sa ibang list or articles it’s only 4 or 5 main elements: DJing, MCing, Breakdancing & Graffiti and the rest are considered subcultures and some say Graffiti is not connected to hip-hop. If you didn’t catch the 1st part here’s the link: https://phsofficial.online/elements-of-hip-hop-part-1/

1. Street Entrepreneurialism

Sa business perspective syempre mag kaka idea kana agad pag sinabi mong “Entrepreneur”, businessman or woman etc. engaged in ventures that create profits for them but when it comes in Hip-hop, the best way to explain this are in the images of hustlers and self-starters. Malawak ung term, it’s either you promote your talent combined with your own creativity that will somehow commercialize the whole thing thus making the person self-employed, self-motivated then dun na niya kakabitan ng business na related sa craft nya. Either paid by performing or marketing stuff like clothes and etc. all boils down to selling.

Me kanya-kanya na silang diskarte pag tungkol dito and isa sa mga ito ay yung mga clothing lines na prino-promote ng ibang Pinoy rappers…
